Vita Lubaina Arsiwala, BDS, MHS
Dentist and clinical scientist with a keen interest in dental public health research, particularly the epidemiology of periodontal disease.
Lubaina holds a degree in dentistry from DY Patil University in Mumbai and has 4 years of clinical experience. She also completed a master’s degree in epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and stayed there to work as the lead-biostatistician on several clinical research projects.
At Charité, Lubaina is excited to contribute her dental expertise and analytic skills to the many ongoing projects at the Department of Oral Diagnostics, Digital Health and Health Services Research.
Currently, she is aiming to develop a deeper understanding of oral health services utilization patterns in communities around the world. She is also analyzing clinical data from patients treated at Charité to help identify patient needs and inform decisions on resource allocation.
